AGEs 18mo - 3yrs w/ caregiver

Dance with Me

Tuesday 4:10-4:55pm

Movement and music for toddlers with a parent or caregiver provides a wonderful music and dance introduction for 18months to 3yrs. Gross motor skills, rhythm, movements, storytelling, and musicality are the focus as your child explores early dance concepts and is enriched by music. This class does NOT perform in our full-school ballets, but instead will have parent/child showcases and in-studio fun!

AGEs 3 - 4.5, Pre-K 3/4s

Tuesday 5-5:50pm

Imaginative movement activities introduce your child to musical, body, and spatial awareness, while developing coordination and motor skills. Patterns, storytelling, and musicality are the focus as your child continues to build on the fundamentals of dance. This class will be invited to participate in our spring youth ballet performance and class showcases will be held. Dancers must be age 3 by 9/30 AND take class alone and be potty-trained. If your dancer would rather take class with parent/caregiver, please take Dance with Me until your child is ready for the Preschool Class taken without a parent/caregiver. Thank you!

AGEs 4-7 jazz/tap/acting

NOTE: take alone or as add on to storybook, preballet a or b, or 1a/b (also: ages 7 may take this thrusday or the saturday beginning jazz/tap)

Thursday 5:15-6:00, 45 min.

For Ages 4-7, this class harnesses creativity and energy in a positive way so that each child is allowed to express his/her thoughts and emotions by acting, dancing, and making music with tap shoes. Our age-appropriate syllabus uses concepts and ideas to which children can relate while making it all seem fun. The musical selections will advance an understanding of rhythm, melody, and motion. We have tap shoes you may borrow for the year that stay at the studio or you can bring your own. Dancers in this class do NOT have an extra role in full-school ballets, but instead have showcases in the studio during the year for parents.

AGE 5-6 pre-ballet a

Pre-Ballet A

Tuesday 5-6pm and/or
Thursday 4:15-5:15pm
optional elective of Tap/Jazz/acting Thursdays 5:15-6pm for ages 4-7

Fun and creative music and a ballet setting, where students dance in a circle with the teacher, then the center, then accross-the-floor. Gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and rhythm come together to prepare your child for more formal ballet training. This class will be invited to participate in our spring youth ballet performance and class showcases will be held.

AGE 6-7.5 Pre-ballet b

NOTE: ages 7+ going into 1st grade may also take lev 1a/1b in the lower school program. usually we recommend that dancers take pre-ballet b in 1st grade and level 1b in 2nd grade, but there are many options to fit each dancer and family. we are happy to answer your questions and get the best fit for your child.

Pre-Ballet B

Tuesday 5-6pm and/or
Thursday 4:15-5:15pm
optional elective of Tap/Jazz/acting Thursdays 5:15-6pm for ages 4-7

Your child refines ballet steps and learns new ones, while working on balance through fun and creativity to strengthen and support muscle development and better prepare for the level-based ballet program. This class will be invited to participate in our spring youth ballet performance and class showcases will be held.

dancers ages 3+ participate in our full school performances including: Nutcracker (december 12-13, 2026) & our 2027 spring ballet (tba)!
